Children’s Playgrounds

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Our children’s playgrounds are designed with the children’s safety in mind. For this reason, they are built with medium – density pine wood (ROUND), oven – dried and vacuum – treated, since round wood reduces the risk of injuries in case of strong blows against edges or corners of square lumber. We also use canvas seats for the swings, avoiding the danger of being hit by a wooden seat.

Our slides are made of the same type of fibreglass with which boats or yachts are built, very resistant to the elements and in case of misuse or vandalism, could be repaired in our company at low costs.

Our tunnels are made of wood instead of the metal or plastic ones used by some of our competitors. Metal rusts quickly in Panama, rapidly becoming a danger to the kids. Plastic quickly becomes brittle in the sun and starts degrading.

We use wood penetrating stains for our finishes which penetrate the pores of the wood and eliminates the peeling problems of paints and varnishes. You can easily freshen up the look of your playground with a quick coat of stain every year or two.

The edges of the screws and nuts will be carefully polished and rounded to avoid cuts, in addition, the screws that are placed in the internal zones of the different modules will be countersunk and covered with wood plugs in such a way that they do not protrude from the surface or cause injury.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Our playgrounds are modular and can be adjusted to any budget, available area and the ages of the children.

It is the responsibility of the client to monitor and not use products installed for three (3) days after delivery to ensure proper curing of the glues. The land on which any playground is to be installed must be leveled by the buyer and should not be on a hard concrete floor (if so, the price will increase).

The guarantee of the treated pine is 20 years, the hardware and accessories are not guaranteed.
